Starting in 2000, Jeremy was an Avionics Technician for Flight Options/Raytheon Aircraft Services. In 2005 he began work at Kelly Aerospace Thermal Systems, where he has a wide range of responsibilities, including aircraft inspections, systems installations, flight testing, and lending technical support to customers; he is also manager of the Quality Department.
Jeremy serves Pheasant Run Airport as a mechanic, inspector, and staff pilot. He is building an experimental RV-8 aircraft, which he plans to fly into the airport.
Jeremy lives in Madison with his wife, Denah and their two daughters, Gracie and Lily, both of whom are avid airplane passengers.
Jeremy Heidinger, chief pilot at Pheasant Run Airport, has a wide range of aviation experience. He holds a Commercial Multi-engine Instrument rated pilot certificate. With more than 1,200 hours total time, he is also qualified to tow gliders and holds an Airframe and Power Plant License with Inspection Authorization (APIA).
After graduation from Concordia High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jeremy attended Illinois Institute of Technology. In 1993 Jeremy worked at Bowman Aviation doing line service and then became an Avionics Technician in the Army, working for six years on communications and equipment on UH-60 helicopter aircraft in the 82nd Airborne Division. While in the Army, he also became an avid skydiver and performed many public skydiving demonstrations as a member of the 82nd Airborne Freefall Team.
