This bi-plane was used for sport flying.  Richard Becker, a well-known local pilot and air race participant, welded the primary structure.  It was completed and flown by Lou Murtha, a P-51 fighter pilot in World War II.  Charles Reed re-assembled it in 2002 and Christopher Joles modified several components in 2010.
